Scenario

A delivery operator wants consistent internal photo records associated with a route, task, contributor, date, and available location context.

Public basis

USPS defines its Proof of Delivery response for eligible services with specific delivery and recipient information. This illustrates that formal proof of delivery has a defined scope; an ordinary field photo is not automatically equivalent.

Example workflow

  1. Define the route or project convention.
  2. Specify the necessary view and exclude unnecessary personal data.
  3. Capture with the selected project and available context.
  4. Add a non-sensitive task reference.
  5. Review records by project, contributor, and date.
  6. Apply the operator's consent, retention, and dispute policies.

Limit

The record does not prove receipt by a named person, replace a signature service, establish package condition, or resolve a claim by itself.
